So your Apple Watch died or your Galaxy Gear is getting a bit slow and you don't want to shell out hundreds of dollars for a replacement. Can't blame you. Luckily in 2020 you don't need to pay big bucks to get a great fitness tracker, as the low cost alternatives now come with all of the bells and whistles of the higher end models at just a fraction of the price. Today we are presenting one such model, the Anbes Smart Watch, which is currently going for right around $35 on Amazon!

Now every once and a while a smart watch makes it to our office that is almost too good to be true, and that's what we have here with the Anbes. Like most smart watches these days, you are going to have all of the features that you have come to expect from the $300+ name brand models out there. Features like 24/7 heart monitoring, sleep tracking, 10 day battery life, detailed fitness data and reports, activity tracking, call and message notifications, exercise modes, useful apps such as timers, alarm clocks, music controls, etc, and IPX68 rated waterproof.

Like many of these low cost watches, what you get in the box is somewhat spartan - the watch itself, a charger, and an owners/warranty manual. Of course, anybody who has purchased a high end Apple or Samsung knows that this isn't much different than what you will find in a box that costs 10x the price, so we can forgive Anbes there.

Setup is dead simple. You are directed to acquire an app from the Play/App store which then walks you through everything. If you have used other watches before, one thing that will stand out to you immediately is the extremely long battery life. In my time with the watch so far, I have not had to do a recharge yet, but reviews on Amazon attest that the manufacturer's 10 day rating is in the ballpark. For instance, the following reviewer noted:

The charge is great, I charged it for a total of 2 hours and I have been wearing it for 5 days and it’s only on 65%!

Frankly these are numbers you will never find on the name brand watches, and you really aren't sacrificing much to get them. All of the fitness tracking features you want are there, and so much more. And like all of these low cost options, the price is where it's really at. You could buy a new one of these every year for a decade and still be saving money compared to some of the offerings from Apple and Samsung. That's hard to ignore.

If you're looking for a great fitness tracking smartwatch in 2020 with waterproof rating to boot, you owe it to yourself to check out the Anbes on Amazon today. At least read the reviews and see what everybody else loves about this hidden gem.
